When Do Maintenance Charges Apply?
When Casago dispatches maintenance to your property — for a guest-reported issue, an owner-reported issue, an owner request, or a compliance-related visit — labor is billed at the rates below.
All Casago labor is billed in 10-minute increments. The hourly rates below are a reference point — you're only ever charged for the time actually worked.

How Work Orders Work
We handle work orders differently based on estimated cost:
Under $500 — Casago acts on your behalf. For issues under $500, we have the authority and responsibility to dispatch our team or coordinate a vendor immediately — without waiting for your approval. This protects your property from further damage, ensures your guests aren't left waiting, and preserves the revenue from their stay. You will always be notified of what was done and why.
Over $500 — we get your approval first. For larger repairs, we'll contact you before proceeding so you can weigh in, approve the work, or decide how you'd like to handle it. The more significant the repair, the more we want you involved in the decision.
Reduce Your Costs with the Preventative Maintenance Program
If you're enrolled in the Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP) — part of the Casago 360 Bundle — internal Casago labor on work orders under $125 per occurrence is covered at no additional charge. Parts are passed through at cost with no markup.
Approximately 75% of routine repairs — leaky faucets, sticking doors, minor plumbing fixes, running toilets, small electrical issues — fall under that $125 threshold. For most PMP members, the majority of day-to-day repairs cost nothing extra.
The PMP also includes approximately 70 proactive maintenance activities per year, climate-calibrated to your market (desert, mountain, or coast), plus HVAC filter changes, safety checks, and more — designed to catch small problems before they become expensive emergencies. Members report 73% fewer emergency repairs on average.
PMP pricing starts at $59/month for a 1-bedroom property. Most owners save more in waived labor than the program costs.
